How to enter the Funky Challenge
- The Funky Challenge opens on 1 July.
- Posting of Funky stories and poems starts on our website 1 August.
- Deadline for Funky entries is Friday, 15 August– 3rd week of the Challenge publishing month.
- Only stories or poems that satisfy the criteria (i.e. 400 Words or less and address the theme will be considered.
- Your entry must have a unique title (not just the theme word).
- Send your entry to beanswrite21@gmail.com (attach as a word document).
- Please tell us if your entry is AI-generated or Ai assisted.
- A light edit of your work may be undertaken prior to publishing.
- The editor’s decision is final.
- A flipbook with voting will be published once all the entries for the Challenge have been posted on the website.
- Voting closes 2 weeks after publication of the flipbook.
- Copyright of a story/poem remains with the author.
- Copyright of Spill the Beans books remains with Spill the Beans NSW Inc.
